Studex® ear piercing systems are designed to pierce ears virtually pain free. When performed properly, most people feel little or no discomfort.
Is it safe to pierce infants and children?
Yes! All Studex® ear piercing systems are safe for ears of any age. We recommend parents consult with a pediatrician for infants before their ears are pierced.
Can i use Studex® ear piercing earrings for everyday use?
Yes! Many people with sensitive ears use Studex® sterilized earrings for everyday use.
Can studex® ear piercing systems be used for body piercing?
NO! Studex® ear piercing products are designed to safely pierce the ear lobe and outer cartilage of the ear. Studex® ear piercing products should not be used to pierce other parts of the body.
How long does it take an ear piercing to heal?
A minimum of 6 weeks for pierced ear lobes and 12 weeks for ear cartilage piercings.
What can i do to help my ears heal?
Clean the pierced area(s) with Studex® After Piercing Lotion at least once a day. More frequent cleaning is necessary after excessive physical activity. Avoid touching the piercings whenever possible.
